I had a dream this morning that I felt was sending me a distinct message but I am not sure what it is.

I particularly would like to know what the meaning of this is, I opened my mailbox and inside was an old deck of cards from the 1800's and a copy of The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe, the first card that I could see had a spade on it. I distinctly remember in my dream feeling that something or someone was trying to send me a message.

I don't know if the dream I had before that is linked but the dream right before going into the mailbox dream was that there were two paths. One was flat and straight and the other was more challenging going uphill but I was thinking to myself that it would give a better workout. I decided to walk down the flat path and I could see in the distance that there were some male construction workers ahead. An older woman came walking by and told me that the path was dangerous and to walk to more difficult path. I started to walk to more difficult path and other people particularly women that I remember were walking with me and there was one man who had heard what the elderly woman had said to me walking with us, he was a nice man. When I got to the top of the hill I realized that the elderly woman had tricked me and there were dangerous men waiting at the top of the hill for us. I turned around before they saw me and told the other women who were coming up not to go up the path. The man who had originally heard what the old woman had said agreed that she had lied. While I was walking up the path I remember having a conversation where I was talking to someone about how 95% of people want to hurt each other and that it starts from the pain of teasing in childhood, that we don't raise our children in accepting enough environments. I also remember finding a baby and picking it up and carrying it with me while others were wondering where the parents were.

It seems like the dream has to do with a choice that you have made or have to make in life. It would help if you would say something about your current situation - is there anything important going on in your life that could be affecting your dreams?

The cards in a dream could represent luck- sometimes when you make a choice a lot of what happens afterwards still depends on luck.
