I had a dream that a man had given birth to my baby. Apparently I got pregnant in the dream, but he had just undergone a C-section and given birth to our baby girl. The issue in the dream was that I was married to another man. My husband in the dream coincidentally is my husband in real life (we have no children yet).

In the dream, I was unaware that I had slept with another man, but somehow I had gotten pregnant by this other man, but he gave birth to it. I am a woman (in the dream and in real life), and somehow HE got pregnant, but apparently that wasn't weird at all or unusual in the dream.

The problem in the dream was that I was married and had gotten pregnant by this "other guy" who had just given birth to a baby girl and he was claiming it was mine. I can remember this guy's face because he is an acquaintance of ours (my husband and I) in the real life, but in the dream my husband didn't know him. I really don't know him that much in real life, but somehow he ended up in my dream.

In the dream I remember sneaking into the hospital to see my baby and this "other man" without letting my husband know. This "other man" seemed to want me in his life and be with him, but the issue of me being married was apparent and he seemed hopeful for me to leave my husband. In the dream, I remember being torn apart, and worried because I loved my husband and couldn't comprehend as to how me and this other guy got pregnant.

When I went to see my baby for the first time I remember being nervous and I had to make a line to go see her (like at the DMV where you wait in a long line and then you hand them a receipt with a number to the lady over the counter).

I remember visiting the "other man" at the hospital and he was trying to seduce me and we had intense intimate sex (after the baby was born) and he wanted us to be together, but also playing hard to get at the same time.

Also, his mom (which I don't know in real life or have ever seen. She was also a Philipino lady which is weird because he was Caucasian) in the dream seem to be apprehensive of our relationship and doubted that the baby was mine. I think a DNA test was done in the dream and I was in fact the mother lol

In the dream I learned that they had named the baby Ginger Mercado. This was very strange to me because the baby wasn't carrying my last name, nor his. This name was and is strange to me because none of us had a Spanish last name in the dream, or in real life.

Last thing I remember was me not liking her name and I wanted to change it.

Thats all I can remember for now...

I don't understand and feel sorta weird about this dream because I absolutely love my husband and would never even consider cheating on him.

Can anyone out there explain to me what is wrong with me???? Thanks.

First of all, a dream about being with someone other than your partner rarely means that you want to cheat in real life, so don't worry.

A baby can represent a change in your life or the beginning of a new project that you want to start.

Since someone else gives birth to the baby, it could mean that you want to change something in your life, but you feel that you can't do it by yourself.

The dream could mean that you want someone else to share the burden,

The part about you feeling guilty and torn apart could have to do with you feeling guilty about not being able to do everything yourself and having to depend on other people.

You could also be feeling worried about how this could affect other parts of your life, such as your relationship with your husband.

The man who gives birth could also represent another side of you, maybe a side of you that is strong, more rational, or that has some of the qualities that this man has in waking life.

Having sex with him can represent getting close to that other side of your personality.

What does the name Ginger Mercado make you think of? Why didn't you like the name?

Here is some more info on dreams about pregnancy and dreams about sex.

    Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for taking time for reading/replying to my dream. I appreciate it.

The reason why I didn't like the name in my dream was because I wasn't even given the opportunity to name my own baby. While, my baby girl wasn't carrying his or my last name. Not having our last name was wierd. No one in the family had the last name Mercado.

I want to add that I shared my dream with my mom the next morning and to my surprise, she shared with me that she also had a dream about a falling baby too (that same night as me) Interesting.. In my dream, my baby girl fell off my hands too...

    Thanks for your help

It sounds like you and your mother see a lot of things the same way. Is that true? You sound like you are very close, to be having such similar dreams.

Not being able to name your own baby could mean that you feel that you don't have control over something that you think you could control.

Mercado means market. Could you feel that you have had to sacrifice something because of money, or that you can't get something you want because of money issues?
