I need help interpreting this… Please help me.

I was driving my teal Ford Escort station wagon at night. A pale blue light filled the car from my cell phone charger plugged into the cigarette lighter. I looked over and saw one of my best friends sitting next to me. We were talking, but I don't remember what about. Then out of nowhere, I'm suddenly holding his hand between us in the car. For some reason, I felt the happiest I had been in the dream, and I woke up really short of breath.*

I found this strange because we're just friends and I'm not gay. Please help me interpret this dream. I'm really confused by this... **
