I was standing in a large clearing overlooking a long sloping valley with massive trees to the right and left. To my left there was a girl i grew up with. A gentle warm wind was blowing. Both of us were looking off across the valley to the horizon and it was incredibly peaceful.

Suddenly far off in the distance i saw a massive space ship come streaking from above, shaking my body with its roaring and thundering. The wind picked up and caused the massive tree tops to bow almost to the ground. Yet the girl and i stood without being effected.

It was then i realized there were hundreds of people in the clearing walking around between the two walls of trees that crossed the valley and they had gone into mass panic. Screaming and running around they didn't know where to go. I wondered why. The ship was familiar, i seemed to be expecting it.

I looked to the girl and i was concerned she was afraid like the others. I could only see the profile of her face and she was completely at peace as well.

I then looked back to the ship across the valley and it slowed, pointed towards me and stopped.

A large swirling mass of fire came from the ship and formed and came directly towards me and an incredible speed but it was familiar, i knew it, i knew it was coming. I looked back at the girl and she was still at peace.

As it came flying towards me at an incredible speed. As it flew it formed a massive clenched fist in the shape of fire. Just before it hit me it stopped and the pointed directly at my forehead and ever so slightly touched it. I was blown backwards. Flying through the air i stared at the bright blue sky and wispy clouds. Time slowed down. I wasn't afraid. It was familiar and i was expecting it.

When i landed i stared at the flaming hand in front of me and i was overcome with a sense of excitement. It felt like a fire in my chest. It grew intensely and consumed me but i couldn't move. I wanted to get up but i knew but i couldn't but i was alright. It was familiar, i knew it thats how it was.

I wanted to run very fast and jump.

When i was able to get up i took off running in excitement and began jumping hundreds of feet over the trees. I noticed there wasn't everyone had vanished.

Then i was walking beside the girl and she was smiling and all i wanted to do was show her how fast i could run and how high i could jump.

My dreams are pretty varied but most follow the same pattern. Mass chaos, im watching it and have an incredible peace. There usually are a few people with me.

Is your waking life very chaotic? I wonder if your dreams are a way for you to find internal peace when there is chaos around you - kind of like the way meditation would work, only in this case it is forced on you by your unconscious.

Or the dreams could be about you needing to take control of a chaotic situation.

The spaceship coming directly towards you and you feeling at peace and that you know it (while everyone else is panicking) makes me think of you having a feeling of control and power.

This also relates to you wanting to show off to the girl.
