i've noticed lately i may have had OBE's while asleep or dreaming....
all i feel is the 're-entry', fast heartbeat, falling sensation....
anyone know how i could figure out where i go during these OBE's???

From a scientific perspective, you don't go anywhere.

Normally, when you are asleep, your body stops feeling sensations from the outside world. This includes the sense of your own body. During an OBE, this happens while you are still awake. So instead of feeling your body, your brain creates a mental model of your body - like a dream self - and the area around you. This mental model and your real self are slightly out of whack so it feels like you have left your body.

You can actually cause people to have OBEs by stimulating a certain part of their brains.

    For more information, see

The Science of Out of Body Experiences

Of course, that is only a physical explanation. Only you can know where you go in your mind (in your dream world). When you say that you only feel the re-entry, do you mean that you feel like you have been outside your body but you don't remember actually being outside your body?

Here is another perspective that might interest you:

    Astral Projection

I think the advice here on how to relax into an OBE might make you feel less panicky when you come out of it and possibly more likely to remember what happened in your mind before.

    Astral Project Lucid Dreams?

I astral project to observe things that have nothing to do with me while dreaming. I don't enjoy it and fully am aware that I was asleep and now I'm watching people I don't know, usually women in some sort of distress. I yell at them but they cannot hear me and sometimes bad things happen to them. Months later I'll see that same woman/girl on the news or part of something else because for some reason she heard me and got the heck outta there, and is being interviewed on national news. I only seem to be helping women in distress- NEVER men???? I don't know why, maybe because I'm a girl too?? I've always had dream premonitions here and there, but it hasn't been until this past year that the shear number is getting greater and once moved something like knocking mirrors. I know this because I observed a man I know doing something he wasn't suppose to and I slapped the mirror out of his hand, then months later during this same situation that mirror "accidently" flew from his firm grip horizontally when his hand was still so . . . he doesn't believe in this stuff so he just said it slipped LOL.

I've also astral projected observing myself, then a months later caught myself in the same scenario. Once I realized it I at once looked to where I was standing during the astral projection. There I was in a translucent state and the astral projection of myself new I was being scene. During the earlier astral projection I had thought, "Oh my God she sees me!" and turned to flee. The reality self observed the turn around and coasting out of the translucent figure that was me from months ago. So try to observe time line in these "dreams" because that is something I have a hard time doing. I think something will happen right away and it doesn't for like a month to a year.

IDK just try to log what you can because it seems to me that the time span between my projections is average about 2-3 months. I'm trying to teach myself how to observe better to find out where these people are, like city/state, because they aren't always in my hometown area. I don't know why I can do what I do, but it's weird. I don't talk to anyone about this because they'd call me crazy, so I just look up stuff and try to teach myself.

    Good Luck!!!!!
    :)
