    Hi!

So I have been trying to find out where to learn about this and it is pretty hard.

I have to be quick, my battery is about to die! Eep!

So I started doing this when I was about 15. What I do is I will wake up from a dream but still be dreaming. Fully awake, remember every detail. But I see things! A lot like sleep paralysis. But I am not paralized. I feel fear. It started with spiders and I would literally get out of bed to get a shoe to kill a spider that I was imagining. And now lately it has been getting worse. I have begun to see people lurking over my bed. And usually once I see them (because to me it is VERY real) they notice that I see them and they run away and coward againt my door. Just two nights ago this happened. I even woke up my boyfriend because I was afraid he wouldn't see this woman that had broken into our bedroom. And then it takes about a minute or two and I wake up. That is really about it. I know every detail. It is quite odd.

Does anyone know anything about this??

    Thanks!

    Hi and Welcome.

First, I would recommend seeing your doctor about this immediately. I'm certainly no expert, but it sounds like a form of sleep walking with vivid dreams or nightmares. Any number of factors could be causing it, including medications, anxiety disorder, or brain chemical imbalance.

Your doctor will want to run tests too to rule out things and then begin a course of treatment. Good luck!

I agree with Sweet Slumber that you should see a doctor.

I know of some people who've had similar experiences as a reaction to medication.
