Had this one about a week ago. I took a nap in the afternoon and had it. I'll try and give as many details as I can because there were so many moving parts to it that I feel there has to be some sort of meaning. OK, me (19) my brother (16) my sister (17) and my other sister who has moved out of the house (21) all are driving to The Ballpark in Arlington. It's the home of the Texas Rangers, a Major League Baseball team. Going with us our two people. A Hispanic girl named Alex (14) that we know in real life and my brother has a crush on and a blond girl (I believe she's 20) named Cristy who is a friend of my older sister's who I've met only once. Once we get to the stadium, we park in an underground parking garage. As soon as we get out, Cristy isn't anywhere to be found. She was in the car, we get out, and she's gone. No one really seems to care. It was just odd that she was no longer there. We then walk into the stadium. It doesn't actually look like the stadium in real life. It looks like a sandlot. The players are warming up and I'm walking around on the field. I then see the hosts from a radio station I listen to walk on to the field Sportsradio 1310 The Ticket - Home They're warming up for a game. I think it's a charity game, but I never find out for sure. The next thing I knew, we were watching the baseball game, but I wanted to leave when I noticed none of the people I came with were sitting with me. I turned to walk up the steps, but the ground was slick and making it nearly impossible to walk. I had to hold on to the railing the entire walk up. When I got near the exit, I saw a young boy from my church (Victor...he's about 10) walking down the steps. After I said hello to him, he said he was afraid to let go of the rail since he thought he would slip. I went ahead and let go and ran the last few feet without falling. The exit was blocked with black rubber. Like rain boots. I had to fight through it and crawl out of the exit. When I got out, I saw a friend of mine from church named Josh. He's about 20 and I haven't talked to him in 2 years or so. I said hi and he never turned around. After that, I found my brother, sisters and friend. Alex was being rude to my older sister. I don't remember what she was doing. I just remember thinking it was really mean. She got in a jeep and drove away. She can't drive, so it was odd to me. In fact, when we've gone to Go-Kart places before she's been terrified to drive and refuses to. We went off to look for our car, but we couldn't find it. In the middle of looking for it, Alex came back. She was crying and apologizing for being mean earlier. She starts helping us look for the car. We walk down behind the stadium where it's wet and dirty. There's a wooden board blocking an entry and for some reason, we think to look there for the car. When we get inside, it's like a wet cave. It's not the stadium at all. The only thing in site is a giant read out machine. Looks almost like a lie detector test. I told Alex to touch it, and when she did, it spit out a result saying she had cancer. This seemed so familiar before she touched it. I knew it was going to do that when she did, so I told her to do it to freak her out. I knew she didn't really have cancer. I felt like I had dreamed that part before, but I don't ever remember doing it. We start to walk deeper into the cave and I keep feeling like I know my way around the place. Like I said, it feels very familiar like I've dreamed this scenario before, just without the others being there. When we get to the darkest part, a ghost appeared floating through the air. It was a blob and it was made out of fire. We ran out of the cave. The next thing I remember is a bunch of adults following me around. My friends have disappeared. These adults walk with me around the cave and we find out that the ghost was a hoax made by a machine hidden away. After we figured it out, I walk out of the cave and see my family and friends. They tell me they've found the car, so I go with them. As I go with them, I see two 20 year old brunette girls that I've never seen in my life. They're laughing hysterically. As I pass by them, I pulled out my cell phone and just started punching random numbers. I watch them answer their phone and I say to them over the phone "Josh Hamilton" (He's a baseball player) After I said it, the girl who answered the phone said "I don't hear you" And I repeated the name. Again, she said "I don't hear you." I hung up the phone and woke up. I know it's odd and it's random occurrence after random occurrence, but it's haunting me.
Since the dream is so random, I'm going to make some random observations. *an exit is blocked and/or hard to get through *the path getting there is hazardous *people around you are doing odd or unexpected things and being rude to one another *things aren't what you expect them to be *people don't hear you Do these things seem familiar to you in your current life? Are you currently on a journey where meeting your goals is tough and people aren't being that supportive because they're involved in their own struggles?
Not quite. I'm not as far ahead in my career as I'd like to be, but everyone's being supportive. My dad and oldest sister have been in a little bit of a spat since she moved out though.
