Please, someone help me with the meaning of this dream. I've been having this dream for 3 times already. The content of the dream is slightly different but the same things come back in every dream. It's like it continues everytime. It's kind of long. I hope someone can help me... In the first dream I arrived at this town with the train. Together with my mom I went walking through town. I couldn't read the name of the city, since I was a little child. It was a town I have never seen. In town, there was this shop where they sold toys. Of course, I liked it. There was this one peculiar doll in the shop. It was handmade, just like the other toys, and it was grinning. It was just a doll made from black textile, consisting of a head, two blue eyes, a white grinning mouth, two arms and two legs. the most simple doll you can ever imagine. There was also a church near the toyshop, which was scary for me, though I don't know why. Around the church was some kind of a plaza with shops. the road to right of the church was uphill, and there were some bars and pubs there and a hotel. From the first dream I can't really remember something, except that we got lost with the train on our way back. In the second dream I wanted to go somewhere with the train, with my friend. Somehow, I lost her on the trainstation in a neighboring country. Something weird was going on with the trains. I thought I was really late, so I just jumped in a train, not knowing where it would take me or even knowing if it was the good train. When we stopped, I decided to go to the back of the train as I was informed that one half would go somewhere else then the other half. I still didn't know where I was heading. Then, I arrived with the train at that same town again. This time I just turned 15 years old, and I was too in my dream. I started wondering around town again, all alone. Somehow, the towns people didn't seem to really like me, as they were looking at me suspiciously. I was the only one wearing modern clothes, while everyone else was wearing old clothes, just as old as the town seemed. Again I saw the church. I remembered about the toyshop, and decided to take a look if it was still there, just like in my other dream. I arrived at the same place, but it was a bookshop now. Then there suddenly was a girl that told me I should go in and ask if this was a toyshop earlier. I just listened to her and went inside together with her. There were two man in the shop. I asked one of them, they were both busy with books, if this really was a toyshop earlier. He told me the toyshop owner left because there weren't any children anymore in that town, saying the last one left a long time ago. Now they opened a bookshop. They were really nice. After that, the girl decided to take me around town. It was late in the afternoon, almost time for dinner. She showed me some old looking buildings that were special for some reason. Then we went to the outskirts of town and went into a pub there. There were old drunken men that wanted me and the girl to drink too, but I didn't want to. The were also women that were wearing coquettish clothes and entertaining the men. The girl told me I should stay there, but i didn't want to so I left. I ran away, it was dark already. There was a church-like building near by, and it was opened. I decided to take a look inside, since it wasn't as scary as the church in the middle of the plaza. I went inside and I was only standing in the hall, when I saw men dressed in long brownish coats talking about stuff I didn't understand. It seemed suspicious so I decided to listen and wait in the hall. Then I saw a book one of them was holding with the symbol of satanism on it, and right at that moment they started saying and doing rituals with candle lights. I was really scared of it and ran away outside. I kept running, and when I looked back I was the whole inside of the church was red colored, and flames inside, and I could still hear the men speaking weird spells. I kept running, and running, until I was really tired. I didn't know where I was, I didn't know how to get to the plaza. I was sitting in an abandoned playground, at night. Everything was made out of wood. I just sat there, and suddenly this boy, a little bit older than me, appeared. He just, walked by on the otherside, only looking one time at me. The moment he was gone, I suddenly was wearing a white dress. Just, completely white, while I was wearing modern clothes a moment earlier. I also was wearing a headband made from plants, decorated with flowers. I walked towards the big tree that seperated the playground from another area. I climbed into the tree. I could see the other side. It was a beautiful field with another huge tree that had the most pretty flowers you can imagine. there were huge flowers leading to the tree. I stepped on the flowers, jumping from flower to flower to reach the tree. when I came there, the flowers had turned into fluffy seedballs that looked like the ones dandelions have, but then in the same pretty pinkish-purpleish color as the flowers. I grabbed one of them, and it was so big (or I was so small) it carried me on the wind to the plaza. Once I arrived there, I didn't seem weird anymore. I was dressed like them, but still different. But the townspeople seemed to like me. Then I saw the guy I saw in the playground again. He said: 'Maybe you should go to sleep, young lady. It is very late. I suggest you sleep in that hotel.' Pointing to the hotel on the plaza in my first dream. That's how my dream ended. In my third dream, which I had last night, I was 19 or 20 years old. (Which is weird since I've just turned 16) I once again arrived with the train. And again, I seemed to have lost my way with the train, since it certainly wasn't the destination I had to go to. I couldn't quite read what was on the sign of the train station. I ran out of money, so I walked around town again. It seemed so familiar again. I was walking down this particular street and then suddenly on my right, there was a street with a bookshop. I walked up to it. It was exactly the same bookshop as in my previous dream. A voice in my head told me I should ask whether this was a toyshop in the past. So I walked inside, seeing exactly the same guys being busy with books. Again, I walked up the guy with the glasses and asked about the past of this shop. He told me this was a toy shop earlier, but the owner has left. Then he looked at me, and gave me a book. It looked like a history book about the town. Then he said: 'You sure seem interested in this town's history, since you asked me this earlier.' I was shocked. I decided to pay for the book. Suddenly, I had money. But they weren't euros. I don't know what it was. I looked outside, and saw the guy I saw in my second dream, but a lot more mature and older than last time. I think he was 21. He just kept staring at me. When I payed for the book and thanked the bookstore man properly, I walked outside. It was getting dark again. The guy asked me if I was doing fine, as if he knew me. I said I was. I asked where the trainstation was again, because now I had money to go back. He looked at me weirdly, asking me what a train was. Then he told me I should find a place to stay, since it was getting night. He said he knew one, and ran off, telling me to follow him. I was afraid. I ran after him, but my feet moved slow. I looked up to the church in front of me, as the sky was getting darker every second. My sight became blurry. Memories from the satanism and the church from my second dream came back to me. Finally I got out of that street and flowed the guy into the plaza. He ran straight to the hotel. I stopped in front, caught my breath and then went inside. It was chique, compared to the rest from the town. Suddenly, my modern clothes were gone again and I was wearing this beautiful purple/lavender gown, like those dresses from the 18th century from rich women. The guy was wearing a suit all of a sudden too. The boss of the hotel came to me, saying he was glad to have a guest like me, and said I deserved one of te best rooms. The guy and I followed him and a whole bunch of butlers to the room. he opened the door and before I knew it, I stood in this HUGE room with walls that were in a pretty purple color, lavender and purple curtains from silk all over the place and the whole room decorated with soft satin pillows. And in the middle of the room was a bed. and it was huge. Purple satin again. The guy suddenly put his arms like, around my waist. The boss of the hotel gave me a doll, saying it was a present for me that I chose his hotel to spend my first night with my man in. I was like: what the hell, my first night with my man?? (I never had a boyfriend before in my life) Looking at the guy, who was just smiling at me really sweetly. I looked at the doll I just received. It was exactly the same doll from the first dream. the same black doll, the same blue eyes, and the white grinning mouth. I thought it was scary, and just before the boss left, I told him I didn't want it. My 'husband' seemed shocked. The hotel boss asked me: 'Do you really not want this very special doll?' to which I answered no. Then he said I could get the top room instead. We followed some stairs and arrived in a room that seemed royal. It was red with pillars with golden patterns on it. It was really royal. Then he and the whole bunch of butlers left, closing the door behind them. Leaving me and my so-called husband together. I just looked at the door, and with a kind of scared look at him. He just gently looked at me, walking up to me carrying me to the bed. As he did, my dress changed again, this time into a more seductive one, matching the red and gold of the room, still looking like an old-styled dress. He put me on the bed and started to undress me. That's all that I remember.
I think these dreams have a lot to do with your growing up and your sexuality. The part about satanism, and the churches in the dreams, could have to do with your feelings about sexuality and morality. Do you come from a religious background? How does your family feel about sex? A train can represent your journey in life. I think the doll represents you. You are afraid of it in the last dream because you are worried about the kind of woman you could grow into. The toyshop turning into a bookshop represents going from an innocent young child to an older child/teenager with knowledge and experience.
I see... I think that makes sense yeah. Thank you for reading the whole thing, I hadn't thought anyone would do that. My mom is religious, she's a roman catholic, but she has told me several times about sex that she doesn't really care if I'd do it but it's my own fault if something goes wrong. I myself am struggling with religions though. The rest makes sense really ..
