My dreams tend to be weird and rarely make sense to me. I wouldn't know how to interpret one if I tried, though I do like discussing them. Most of my dreams tend to be rather fantastic and strange. The other odd thing is there are things about me that stay the same night to night even as the dreams change. I have superhuman strength, I've thrown vehicles when angry, easily overpowered other people in my dreams, and more than once I smashed through a wall when no door was visible. I also seem to be unable to die, I've sustained a shotgun blast to the chest at point blank range and just snatched the gun out of the person's hand. I've been dismembered by a laser-whip (overflow from a sci-fi I watched before bed), and other injuries that should have killed me, but they don't.

The other odd thing is I seem to have limited abilities to manipulate my surroundings or manifest unusual abilities. Just last night when I got angry at someone in my dream I held my hands out in front of me, manifested fireballs, and hurled them. The other thing I've noticed is that that certain abilities seem to be getting better over time. One example is hovering/flying. When I first hovered in a dream years ago, I could barely move my feet off the ground, and movement like this was extremely slow. Now I can move forward/backwards at a nice clip while hovering, and I've taken off flying, actually soaring through the air at incredible heights and speeds.

I also tend to be violent and ruthless in my dreams, I kill without hesitation, do what I want, take what I want, all sorts of things I wouldn't do while awake. Doesn't bother me though because it's just a dream and no one is really getting hurt. My dream last night was just plain weird even to me, it shifted fairly quickly so I can't solidly recall a lot of things. There was wilderness, shifted between thick forests, and then areas mixed with dots of open land surrounded by bushes and dwarf trees. There I somehow ended up in a tree house, not the kiddy type, and actual house in a tree. There I got into a hell of a fight with someone.

There was a young man there and for some reason we did NOT like each other. It's not anyone I recall from life, but he was about my height and size with short brown hair like me. His face was different than mine as was his hairstyle. We fought for a time without anyone getting the upper hand, then he changed into something that was almost troll-like in appearance and continued attacking. I eventually got the upper hand, knocked him through a wall into the wilderness below, there he ran away and after losing sight of him everything shifted again, new set-up.

I also ended up walking down a dirt road with a small group of people, I don't remember much about it beyond that being were I manifested the fireballs. It was because someone had pissed me off and I tried to fry them, I don't remember if I succeeded or not.

When I was in the woods I remember both chasing, and being chased. I was pursuer and pursued. I also remember being with two people, there was a stream that forked several times. Parts of the stream were little more than water flowing over the ground while others were massive torrents too deep to measure. For some reason none of us wanted to cross the stream even at the shallow parts, but we had to because we were being chased.

That's all I can remember, if any of it makes sense to anyone.

Having superhuman strength in dreams and having limited abilities to affect your surroundings is a characteristic of lucid dreams, which are dreams where you know that you are dreaming. (Is that why you aren't bothered when you hurt someone, because you already know it's only a dream while you are in the dream.)

You might want to find out more about them:

    https://www.dreaming.life/lucid-dreaming/

Often in a dream, when you get into a fight with a stranger, that stranger represents a part of yourself that you don't accept, sometimes known as your shadow.

The fact that this man resembles you in a way emphasizes this.

I think the wilderness and the forests represent the things in life and/or about yourself that you find confusing. Being in the tree house means that you are above the forest looking down at it, so I think that represents making sense of everything. Getting into the fight with that man means that you are going to have to face up to some things about yourself if you want to make sense of your life.

You knock the man through the wall, but you just lose sight of him, you don't call him, so you aren't dealing with him, or what he represents, now, but you haven't completely gotten rid of him.

The person pissing you off could have to do with something in life getting you angry. You are letting out your frustration in your dreams.

You might want to ask yourself why, if you have control of your dreams and know that nothing bad can really happen, you do things that hurt people in your dream, as opposed to doing something else, like climbing Mount Everest or having sex with a famous celebrity (I'm just thinking of things off the top of my head.) Are you using your dreams to release anger that you can't release in waking life?

Being chased in a dream often has to do with avoiding a conflict. It's interesting that you dream of being both the pursued and the pursuer. (That goes with the idea of you and the man you fought all being one person.) It seems like you want to avoid something, but at the same time, you want to face it so you can find a solution.

Water is a symbol of the emotions and the unconscious, so a fear of having to cross the stream could have to do with a fear of facing repressed emotions and unconscious thoughts.

The superhuman strength, ability to fly, and manipulate my surrounding are constants, not always all three at the same time, but 99% of the time one or more is present. I also know what a lucid dream is, every great once in a while while I'm dreaming I'll stop, look around, and usually say something like, "This is a dream." Lucid dreaming also magnifies the above mentioned abilities. I also do have pursue women and have sex in my dreams a lot.

I believe I know why I'm so violent in my dreams, I've been told more than once that I'm very laid back and it takes a LOT to make me angry. I also have a high IQ resulting in me adopting a logical mindset. In daily life I often detach myself from my emotions and control them tightly, I'm not an idiot though, I do allow myself to vent in private to let the lid off the pressure cooker. I think in my dreams I'm taking off my 'public face' and just allowing myself to cut loose as I'm often driven by passion and instinct, the exact opposite of my waking self.

I don't have any repressed issues that I'm aware consciously aware, and I'm pretty in touch with my emotions. I'm not dismissing what you've said, I just can't pinpoint anything in particular. I'm not always violent in my dreams either, sometimes I just kinda run around and try doing things that only make sense in a dream. Now I can sight something in my dreams that resulted from real life.

Some years ago I lived with my best friend for almost a year, during that time he married his girlfriend. The more I got to know her the more I disliked her, she was selfish, self-centered, greedy, and immature. It eventually got to the point I moved out because of her. Shortly after that I had a dream, in the dream I was stand out behind a trailer I once lived in years ago on a small wooden porch. Behind the trailer was a hill that sloped up and there were a lot of trees with the ground covered in fallen leaves. The women in question, Glenna, walked up next to me on the porch and started talking. After a little while she really got on my nerves so I reached over and shoved her off the porch.

Glenna stumbled, fell backwards onto a nearby table that was overturned and was impaled through the chest by one of the table legs. It didn't really seem to bother me and I went back to staring into the forest. I noticed some figures walking toward me shortly afterward, it was night and they were a way off so at first I only saw shadows moving. As they got closer they turned out to be zombies (I watch a lot of horror movies). I also noticed Glenna get up out of the corner of my eye, but I didn't pay attention as I was focusing on the zombies.

She stepped back up onto the porch and clamped down on my shoulder with her hand, when I looked over I saw that she was a zombie as well, in a fairly advanced state of decay. When she leaned in to bite my neck I placed my hand on her shoulder and pushed her down so hard I heard her collar bone snap and kicked her off the porch. I don't remember much after that but that dream stayed with me for two reasons. It's the only time I ever dreamed of Glenna, and zombies creep me out.

On a lighter note I've also had nightmares turn humorous. Zombies are about the only thing in my dreams that can actually scare me, one time a zombie was chasing me through a house and I was trying to get away from it. After a short time I ran into a bedroom and grabbed a katana from under the bed. Turning around I swung as hard as I could and took his head off, as soon as I did I heard "CUT!". When I looked around it turned out I was on a movie set and the director started gripping at me for messing up the scene. The zombie turned out to be an actor, he picked his severed head up and walked off complaining to himself.
