Well one night I had a dream that i was walking through this garden and it was the most beautiful garden i had ever seen, and in the middle of the garden was a little greenhouse with a little cement bench about 20 or 30ft infront of it. I then heard a man wisteling, So said hello someone said "Sit down"real kindly by then i had walked really close to the greenhouse but not close enough to see who was inside. By then i had thought about the voice because it seemed so familiar to me cause i had heard it before. I then asked who are you? After that I cant really remember what he said other then he came out and I started crying and he gave me a big hug I started crying cause it was one of my idols. (He had died about 2 years ago when I had that dream) He sat me down and i started crying in his lap he told me it was all right and then he started talking to me i cant remember what he said all i know is he said remember this quite a few times and he was so sweet about everything. Well it has been a little over year and i i have had tht dream reoucure many times but most of the time he keeps saying something. What do you think this dream means? Is one of my idols talking to me. Please respond to me and tell me what this dream means. Thank you so much, April

April, getting back to your dream, I think maybe you dream about your idol in times of stress. It's your mind's way of maybe calming yourself and giving you the strength to handle things. By the way, I have a brother, so I sympathize.

There are all sorts of different stress though; the kind of stress your dreams are usually concerned with is the stuff you aren't noticing in waking life, stuff your subconscious might be worried about. Sometimes though, dreams are just about wish-fulfilment; seeing the people or things you'd like to see - they don't always have to be deep and meaningful, they can be fun or thrilling too. This is what I dreamt last night; I think my subconscious may be telling me that too much time spent inside on computers isn't a good thing, that I should come and go and get some sunlight now and again. 22-December-2004: I had a dream that was set in the middle of York in England; there was a dark doorway in King’s Square that, after walking through, led down some stairs into a large room full of people studying on computers. They were learning about how the outside world was no good; that it was much better to stay down here and never see daylight again. It was forbidden to go back up the stairs into the sunlight on King’s Square, but I held a security door open and let some people walk back up the stairs into the light – a lot of them were afraid because they hadn’t seen daylight in ages, but I made them go up there and breath the fresh air. Many of them loved it but missed their teachings underground; so the headmistress of the school decreed that people could come and go as they wished, my mother came in with a pushchair, she’d apparently been unaware of the original rules and had been coming and going all the time. I overheard the headmistress cutting a deal with a hidden computer voice; he was to count the pupils as they came and went and, whenever there came a time when everyone was inside, he was to lock and seal everyone inside forever. The student were happy for a while, thinking their ruler was nice for letting them come and go; but one time when they were all inside the door slammed shut and locked, the headmistress laughed and explained how they were all now sealed inside for the rest of their lives. I noticed that something had jammed in the door slightly so that I could open it; I went and held the door open and asked how many people wanted to leave – everyone started getting up and leaving, even a hugely overweight girl with a very pale face from years of being underground had had the spell broken in her mind and was leaving.
