I am going to share my dads dream he had last night he was really freaked out so freaked he called me and told me about this, maybe some one has an idea of what it could mean if anything at all.

My dad walks down the street of his childhood home he sees all the doors in the house open he goes in the house there is snow all over the house feet deep, in the kitchen he sees his childhood dog dead four paws up frozen with snow all over it. He walks around the house and near the basement door he sees his deceased mother on all fours covered in snow, she looks at him and says I'm so cold please help me its so cold here.

He woke up scared for his mom because he thinks she is in her own hell. Although she was a great person who had a tragic life in some ways her mom died when she was 9, her first fiance in her home country was killed and eaten by canibals on a safari, she moved to america married my marine grandfather got tb lost one lung and then had two sons one of which died very young. For such a hard life I just hope this was not where she is on the other side.

All the coldness and death in the dream makes me think more about numbing or deadening of emotions than actual death. (Like most things in dreams, death in a dream often symbolizes something else.)

The dream sounds like he is repressing emotions or bad memories that need to be released. Maybe he has numbed his emotions or hidden bad memories in order to cope with the difficulties he has had in life.

How long ago did his mom die? The dream could be about grief. When you are grieving you go through stages where you have to repress a lot of your sadness so you can cope with everyday life.
