    Hello again.

    In my last dream "Problems with travels" I had problems with accomodation, was double booked and had to travel back and fourth to Sweden from the Canary Island (see earlier dream).

    Now, last night I had another dream which seems to be on the same theme...This time I was travelling with my mother. I think we were going to Great Britan, but there had been a problem with the flight. We were sitting in a small airplane on a landing strip and was given a new itinerary. Many of the passangers left the plane but we just stayed on...Looking at the itinerary there was a long list of destinations and we would have to go via them, in order to reach our destination in Great Britan. I remember saying; "But is that Nairobi in AFRICA or is there another Nairobi, somewhere?" We never had to change planes, the same machine just took us to one place after another. Somewhere in a jungle climate area, most others gave up, took their bags and left - but we just went along, patiently. I don't remember ever reaching the destination, just the travel.

    Even in the dream it felt absurd. I cannot help to wonder what all this travelling is about? In my entire life I have had dream of travelling and hotels but it seems like the theme has been accentuated, lately.

    It seems like the dream is saying that you are frustrated, since you keep traveling to different places, but don't get to a final destination. The fact that you aren't sure which Nairobi is meant by the Nairobi on the list makes me think that you feel your frustration has to do with lack of communication with certain people. The lack of communication might also be reflected in your other dream where people were saying they needed to diet, somethng that didn't make sense to you.

    Traveling in dreams can refer to the idea of “getting or going somewhere in life”. In this case this idea is being seen in relation to your belief system. (traveling with mother) A plane can represent the idea of a plan – here one by which you might get somewhere in life. There may be a problem with the plan itself. (a problem with the flight) The small plane can imply that the plan is basically good or godly as long as it is not overly emphasized. The small plane can also suggest that only a few aspects of yourself are really into this plan (as it would carry few people).

    Going to Great Britain would imply having a plan with a specific destination or goal but there may be grounds for (airplane on a landing strip) a change in route taken – or simply for a less direct route to the goal. (given a new itinerary) There appears to be aspects of yourself that are not prepared to accept a less direct route which might also be thus a slower route. (many passengers left the plane) One delay in the less direct route (Nairobi) may give the impression of being negative or wrong but you may want to question this impression. (is there another Nairobi – 2 Nairobi’s ???)

    The stop in Africa – in a jungle area – may imply a situation in which your emotional nature might have more of a say. At this point most aspects of yourself would abandon the idea of a delayed route – but the True Self, using your belief system and nature, continues to accept a changed route – patiently. At an emotional level, there may be some “emotional baggage” that prevents you from accepting to go on when the original plan is altered. (took their bags and left) {Could there be some concern that when emotions have more of a say, that you might give up on the original plan? Is there a possible career plan as well as a “woman’s life” plan involved?}

    Interesting read

    Hello and thank you for your interesting analysis,

    I aspecially like tha plane being reference to "plan" and I believe that is a true association in my case. I also think the small plane means my heart ís not fully in accord with my plan on all levels. My planning always consider work and career first, personal thought automatically comes second and always has done. This way of living is becoming very "samy", leading to the same result over and over again - and parts of me want to try another approach i e think personal life first, professional life second - but it is extremly hard to break the trend. It is as if I let my attention dart to personal stuff for just a day or two, problems appear in my professional life.

    Africa - my emotional side has very little say in my decision making, and only comes out in anxiety attacks or psycosomatic disorders. The jungle of emotions arrive at very unexpected moments that seem illogical, like when I am relaxed or on holiday. I will have to think a bit about your text to see if it can tell me somthing, because I feel it is urgent.
