The dream begins with me inside this cabin out in a desert. Something, like a voice, or maybe it was just me thinking out loud, tells me that I shouldn't go outside as someone is waiting out there to kill me. But I go out anyway and as I look out towards a hill with the sun rising behind it I notice the fact that it's really bright. All of a sudden, a man riding one of those wooden carriages with two horses pulling it comes after me, so I get onto a horse and start riding alongside the train tracks. I take out my rifle and I start shooting at the guy. Then I aim at one of the horses and decide to kill it.

I revel in my victory. However, it's a short one, because as I turn to look forward again I shift into this cinematic third-person view where I'm looking at a wooden bridge holding two sets of train tracks in front of me. One of the tracks are damaged -- blown apart or under construction -- I couldn't tell. To make matters worse there's a train behind me. I let it pass by taking the damaged route and I fall off to my death. What comes next is one of those "Holy s***!" moments. Instead of falling towards the desert or river I'm looking at this massive black whirlpool! It could very well be a black hole for all I know. The sound was incredible.

Of course I'm wondering if it means anything. Maybe the fact that my dream shifts from a first-person view to a third-person view is worth noting. I would appreciate the feedback.

What I find interesting about this dream is that the you shoot the guy because you think he is dangerous, and then you drive off to your death.

Maybe if the guy had stopped you, you wouldn't have fallen in the abyss.

So the dream could have to do with not recognizing what the real dangers in your life are.
