    Hi,
This is my first foray into dream interpretation and it has been sparked by a dream I had last night. First I will start by describing Mr. X, as I shall call him.

Mr. X was my religion teacher in high school. His class changed my life and is the reason I am religious today. I keep in contact with him regularly. I have never met his wife.

    Here goes the dream...

I am at Mr. X's house with him and his children. His wife is in the hospital and is going to die. He is going to visit her and I am to stay with the children. Before he leaves, he presses me against himself and kisses me passionately.

Then, the hospital has been bombed by terrorists and I am running around through the flames trying to find him. I feel panicked and most of all this all-encompassing passion for Mr. X.

Then, I am in a forest. There are dried leaves in the ground and I am standing on a path lined with trees. I see Mr. X's wife coming down the path and I feel an overwhelming hatred towards her. As she comes closer she turns into the girl from Blood Diamond and I turn into Solomon Vandy from the movie as well. We laugh and there is a knowledge that we are immortal and have always known each-other. Then we both turn into statues and slowly vanish/melt away.

    HELP!

    Hi and Welcome!

I like the vivid imagery in this. We have the contrast between the terrorism and forest, which is peaceful. You have the contrast between passion and hatred. There's also the contrast between dried (dead) leaves and immortality.

You may be at a time in your life when you are trying to balance love and friendship, religious practice and materialism, and looking for some refuge from the hectic pace of everyday life.
