The other night, I had a very, very vivid and real like dream--I dreamt that I was in a very well to do and affluent neighborhood that had four story homes or just very large mansions up on hills with very curvy driveways. I don't know why I was there, but I remember entering through the garage of one of the homes and noticing they had lots of plumbing and pipes all through the garage. The next thing I knew was that a group of people were being lead down below into bunkers or rooms underneath the ground, underneath this house. We were hiding from some "force" and I felt fear and could hear the noise of pounding fists behind the doors of the closed rooms. I kept going down long hallways and finally sat on the ground listening to this noise of pounding behind the doors. A man next to me kept holding my hand and I could actually feel his hand. Then, the scene switched to me floating above this home(with the bunkers) and it was almost like I was inside Google Maps-I would "zoom" in and out of the neighborhood, fly over trees, land on the roads, and quickly push off towards the sky. It was all very colorful. Then, the scene changes to me looking at another home with a courtyard. I walk into the courtyard, turn right and my parent are there-my dad is riding a bicycle in circles and my mother is in a chair. There are cats running around and some are hissing at each other and wrestling. In waking life, I don't own cats and do not like cats. Neither do my parents.
A house in a dream often represents your self. It sounds like in the dram your are explouring the mysteries of your unconscious. Water in dreams can be associated with the emotions, so the plumbing and pipes makes me thnk of you connecting with your emotions. The thing that you are hiding from sounds like it might be something about yourself that you don't want to face. The man next to you probably represents the strength that you have within yourself to deal with it. Floating above the house has to do with freedom. Once you accept things, you will feel freer, like a weight has been lifted from you. Since you don't like cats, the cats at the end of the dream would have to do with you being afraid of some negative consequence. What is it about cats that you don't like?
