I'm in the woods and it's nighttime. Dogs are chasing something. I can see in the moonlight now that it is an animal that's a cross between a red squirrel and a chipmunk. The dogs chase it around the corner and I put down my hands down to capture it and rescue it from harm. I catch it and hold it up head level and say "Mambit!" and something like "It's good to see you!" The animal then bites me on the hand, leaving a red bloody pin hole in the top of my hand between the thumb and index finger.

I think a conversation about the movie "Pet Cemetery" with some high schoolers may have inspired this dream.

Mambit was a character, an Egyptian palace servant who betrayed Moses, in the film "Ten Commandments."
