I'm due to receive a very large amount of money. It comes to me as three brown nondescript parcels, with no writing on them to indicate that there's money inside, placed on my office desk. (In real life, I work at home and only see my colleagues in person occasionally. In the dream I work in a fairly busy office with lots of desks and people.) I realise that the money was given to me in the form of cash. I rip open the end of one of the parcels to check that there is actually money in them. I find a lot of smaller envelopes, filled up so they are brick-shaped. I assume there is cash in them but don't try to open them because I'm already concerned that I might have caused a problem by damaging the larger envelope. At some point, I'm thinking about whether the parcels contain a million pounds or just half a million.

I realise that if I leave my desk, someone might take the parcels with all the money, so I decide to call my sister (who lives in another country) to ask her to come get them and deposit the money in the bank for me. I don't want to say anything about the money out loud, in case one of my coworkers overhears. So I call her and tell her that I need a favor from her, and that I'll text her right away with the details.

I hang up, but then there is something wrong with my phone and I'm unable to send a text.

Eventually, my alarm rang, and I woke up.

In the dream there was a reason why I was receiving the money, but I forgot what it was on waking.
