My boyfriend has been having possibly one the most terrifying reoccurrent dreams I have ever heard. He's had this dream since he was six and he attempted to "kill" this thing a few months ago. It involves something that is pure evil. It looks like a skeleton with fangs and claws and glowing red eyes. If you look into the eyes he will haunt you. It turns others have had this dream with the same sort of thing. They all it "Him." What he does is he kills you in different ways but you don't die you feel it like really feel it and you keep dreaming after you're dead in the dream. People think he does it because he hates life and he wants everyone to die so he sort of tries to get you to kill yourself. I have now had this dream happen to me. It was the scariest dream ever I didn't see his eyes but I was frozen with fear and he sort of did this weird animalistic scream at me... Has anyone here experienced this?
How do you know that other people have had the exact same dream? They might have had similar dreams, for example, involving a monster with fangs and claws and red glowing eyes, but it wouldn't have been exactly the same monster, because everybody's unconscous mind is different. What do you mean by"if you look into the eyes he will haunt you?" How can you predict what someone will do? Unless you are a lucid dreamer and you can make something happen in your dreams. And if so, why would you make something frightening happen to you in your dream? Usually, lucid dreamers will try to make bad dreams good (for example, turning a monster into a friendly creature) if they can. And even if you can control your dream, how do you know what the other dreamers are doing, or which of these other dreamers are lucid dreamers? "Him" would be a normal term to refer to someone when you don't know the real name, but how do you know what other people call this creature? (I mean other than your boyfriend, who you would talk to.) How do you know that this "Him" kills people in different ways in the dream? Did other people tell you they experienced this? In what ways did he "kill" these other people? A character in a dream cannot "hate life". A character in a dream does not have emotions because it is not a living thing with a brain and a nervous system. A character in a dream is an idea created by the unconscious mind of the person who had the dream. The dream dictionary has this to say about monsters: Dreaming about monsters and demons is very common. They may represent negative forces inside of yourself and in your life. Most of the monsters are representing your own negative characteristics and tendencies. The monster in your dreams could be your fear, bad temper, negativity, smoking habit, or anything else that is hurtful and needs to be changed. The way that you deal with the monster in your dream is generally symbolic of the way you are dealing with the corresponding negativity in your daily life. If you wake up from this dream and are very frightened, just remember that your mind created those images and that their purpose is to teach you something about yourself.
