I had a dream where i was in a kitchen(I realized in my dream that this was my house in the future) and i was holding a cup of coffee & i could hear my daughter listening to cartoons with my sister. As i stood in the kitchen an old flame of mine came in put his arm around me kissed me & i looked down at my pants. I say to him aren't these pants cool ( they were hot, bright green pajama pants). I think i woke up there since i can't remember anything else.

Could you be disatisfied with your life in the present and thinking about what it would be like if things were different - not necessarily regarding your ex but just if something was different in your life. A kitchen is a place where you find nourishment so maybe the dream is about needs that you have that aren't being fulfilled.
