I used to sleep walk as a child, doing things like running up and down the hall way throwing myself to the floor(in my dream I was being chased and thrown down by someone else). I haven't sleep walked as an adult, but twice in one week, I've become physical while dreaming(both times I woke up right away). The one night I was dreaming that some girl was biting my hand, it hurt really bad, in my dream I was thinking that as soon as she let go, I would beat the heck out of her, I woke up when my hand landed on the back of my boyfriend's head. That really did hurt, my hand and his head. I grabbed him around the neck and punched him in the back of the head in my sleep, it's a good thing he was facing the other way and didn't get a black eye. The other occasion, I was fending off something chasing me, but I couldn't totally remember the dream... I woke up to kicking my dog who sleeps at the foot of my bed. I kicked him pretty hard and he jumped up quickly, waking me. Again, good thing he's a big bull dog and didn't get hurt. Where is the best place to go for info about sleep walking and how to prevent it? I don't want this to go any further, I also hope this doesn't mean that I secretly want to hurt someone!
