I had a very disturbing dream last night that I vividly remember. My husband, our 3 children and me were on a vacation in a hotel. There was also a baby with us. I don't know who's baby. Not ours. We were all in a room. My husband and I decided to go up to our room and leave the children in their's. Their room was on the 6th floor and we had to go to the 9th floor. We went to the elevators and they were all busy. One elevator door opened, but you could only see the top of the elevator. My husband and another man ran in and jumped on top of it. I and a bunch of others yelled, "no". They said, it would be fine because there are 11 floors and they only needed to go to the 9th. I refused to go in.
Next thing that happened was a siren went off and a red light started blinking. I immediately knew something was wrong. Firemen came running with red ropes. I stood back and just watched. I knew it was bad. People were running away from the elevators screaming. A lady told me that they were crushed and they both died. They brought the bodies out in clear plastic bags. I could see that my husband was on the right. I remember being upset but numb. I had to go back to the kids room and tell them. Then I still had to tell my oldest son. I called my mother in law and my sis in law answered the phone and I told her what happened. She laughed and said, "smashed like an egg". I thought to myself, how strange and I just hung up the phone. I dreaded making the phone call to my father in law. I saw my daughters best friend and told her so she could help comfort my daughter. I woke myself up crying.
