6/6/06 I'm in a group of people and it's nighttime. We are observing the sky as thousands of cylinder shaped objects that are whitish and glowing go whizzing by. We think they are UFO's and somehow, hurrican force winds are propelling them across the sky. Their origianl purpose was to land. Then the whole earth seems to be shifting at an alarming rate. We take cover wherever we can. I crouch behind a stone wall. I get an image in my mind of the earth being blown away from its orbit. end scary and disturbing! :borg:
Was it scary and disturbing at the time, or is it more so now when you think of it? Anyway I wonder if the UFOs represent knew ideas that might change your world, knew thoughts that might be creeping in and blowing away the old ways of thinking? Sounds like a great dream to me by the way, right up my street.
Wow! I think you hit the nail on the head. A lot of previous nightmares were about UFO's landing or shooting down on Earth destructive lazers or bombs of fire. This time, they get blown away. It's an old theme revisited, but with a new twist. However, I think the Earth itself getting blown from it's orbit is related to a more realistic threat. Global warming comes to mind. And yes, it is a dream right up your alley. I've read yours to know this.
I should also add that one feeling I had about the old dreams was the threat of nuclear war. After the terrorists attacks here on Sept. 11, 2001, I knew that such attacks were a possiblility and have actually gotten "used" to the idea. Sounds a bit weird, but now I know the USA is just as vulnerable to attack as other countries. We were pretty niave about it until then. Now the new threat is global warming. CO2 from cars and industries have speeded up the process a great deal. The dream was pretty scary during the dreaming, but looking back on it, I feel awestruck. Not in a good way.
