The guy I like is graduating in May. We are very awkward with each other. Last night, I had a dream that I hooked up with his roommate. Like, the dream was very explicit. I had a small crush on his roommate before I met the guy I like, but when I met the guy I like, that's when I started to like the guy I like.

The dream basically was me at a party at the guy I like house. I managed to get drunk and then hooked up with his roommate. I woke up right when things were getting to hot and heavy for me (as I am a virgin).

What does it mean that I hooked up with my crush's roommate? I mean, I talk more to the roommate, but I don't think I truly like him.

Why do you think you talk more to the roommate than the guy you like. If you find it easier to talk to the roommate, and you are more comfortable with him. Maybe he is actually better for you, maybe your unconscious is trying to make you realize that.

The dream could also be your unconscious' way of testing things out. So you dreamed about the roommate rather than the guy you like because it's safer.

Well, the guy I like's roommate, is more open and outgoing. Since I have the same personality, that's why I tend to be more comfortable around him. The guy I like seems to be more of an introvert. We have talked to each other, but it's small talk.

That's odd. Introverts are usually better with deep conversations than with small talk. Unless you and I mean different things by "small talk".
