This dream was like watching a movie. It was about other people, and I was not present at all. Anyhow, It seemed like an entire city of people were traveling down a desert highway in the middle of the night. Some were walking, but most were ridding bikes. And everyone was whispering to each other excitedly or maybe anxiously. At the back of the caravan were a bunch of junior high school children. All of them were on bikes except for a young girl who was about 14. She was talking to another girl who was riding next to her. She kept turning around and staring behind them. She told the other kids that they should look too, but they just seemed to ignore her. Eventually she began to cry and screamed to them that she was going back to find her friend. She turns around and runs back but can’t find anyone. She’s about to turn back when she finds a bike lying on the side of the road, apparently deserted. She immediately hops back on and rides as fast as she can back towards the caravan. The sun is begging to rise when she comes over this hill. There are no people, but lots of bikes that have been painted red, wheels, handles, seats, everything. She begins to cry and turns her bike around and rides away. I really had trouble sleeping after this. It just seemed so real! Anyone have any idea what this could mean?
The people traveling down the highway sounds like a representation of life and the changes that occur in life. It seems like the young girl wanting to go back and look for her friend represents your wanting things not to change, or to go back to the way they were before. Particularly since she is at an age where she would physically be going through a lot of changes. She can't find anyone when she goes back becasue you know that you can't change the past.
