in my dream i was running away from a stalker, whom i was not supposed to know was following me... in order to distract or confuse them i walked straight past them, they were going up some stairs and i went down. my brother walked past me(going up) and i told him to carry on walking, so as to distract the stalker. he did so but when he got one level up he started speaking to me, alerting the stalker, i screamed at him to not talk to strangers and the stalker siezed him i ran up the stairs and had a (square)pole in my hand, i started hitting the stalker on her head, wuth her free hand she took out what looked like a blue disco ball, she was tellin me something and i was gettin weaker, unable to hit her, then somehow my strength was back and i hit her over and over again until a loud cracking noise was heard-her skull, she was dead i had killed her.... what does this mean? in the dream dictionary it says that i have persisting problems and frustration. this took place in a hotel which supposedly implies that it is impersonal or i have been swallowed by an organisation or have lost my unique-ness... Help.....?
It sounds pretty gruesome but I think it's actually a positive dream; the fact that you managed to kill the stalker is good... I don't know what's happening in your life right now but the dream/stalker is likely to be connected to something that is hanging over you, something worrying you, or something you are doing that you want to stop doing; you faced the thing and killed it, which is a very positive thing to do with your fears inside dreams; I think it shows that you have the will and the ability to overcome whatever it is the dream represents in waking life... hope that makes some sense?
I agree it is a positive dream because you killed whatever bad thing the stalker represents. Your brother in the dream seems to represent something that is hindering your efforts, perhaps.
3 strange dreams can you answer? I had a lot of horrible nightmares, they seemed to have ended a couple of weeks ago. Some of them where really scary. These ones are very strange, here's the first one: I was an open field. there where a couple of trees in front of me, and I there was a witch teaching me spels. I could do a lot of thing with the trees, I was playing with them. making them look funny etc. second dream: I was in a dark room. It was completly dark I could not see a thing. Somehow I knew a couple of things: There was a door in front of me, there where a lot of kids in the room there with me, and there was a man behind the door, listening to all of us. If you lied, or did anything ''wrong'' he came inside the room to punish you. I was talking to my sister, she is about my age(i'm 14 and she is 13). My sister had an A for a test and I had a B. I said to my sister: I know he does not like the grade I have, so I'l have to lie. The door opened! There was a lot of light behind the door. But the room I was in stayed dark. He wanted to punish me, I knew it. He walkt over to me, and he said: I'l forgive you, THIS ONCE. and he walkt away. Suddenly I saw a vase standing next to me. I grabt it and throwd it against his head. I throwd everything I could grab to his head, And I would hope he would faint. But he did not. I even tried it with a sticK, but he did not seem to notice! I yelled for help from the other kids and we got the evil man down. Third dream: I am orginasing a vacation for a lot of people. One of them is my mom! I'm at the beach, I have a swim in the lovely water, I'm swimming with dolphins. The water is so beautifull!
The first dream perhaps shows an unconscious desire to alter things that are normally beyond your control, quite a lot of things are seen as beyond your control during childhood and teenage years. The second dream I would say represents natural anxieties connected with adults always testing you, adults being the ones that tell you what is right and wrong and the natural fear caused by this situation; probably your unconscious (dreaming mind) dealing with your daily life and testing out different reactions and their results. The unconscious mind will often play out different scenarios, interpreted from real events in waking life, to test out your different reactions to guess at what the result would be if you actually tried doing it when you are awake. The third dream has lots of water in it, which represents your soul, emotions and unconscious as a whole; dolphins also represent emotions and friendliness, communication and positive messages from your unconscious mind, perhaps suggesting that you desire more communication with your mother, or that communicating with your mother would be helpful and relaxing.
I think Maljonic's explanations are very good. I just don't see how the first and third dreams were nightmares. What was frightening or upsetting about them?
