Hey guys, new to the site so just looking for a couple of opnions...


Last night I dreamt that my father found a spider - the spider was orange and white but it was almost cartoonlike, it was definitely not a real spider and subconsciously I knew that but in my dream I was still very freaked out, anyway my dad picked the spider up by its leg and then chased me around with it and finally right before I woke up he put the spider on my leg & then it crawled on my body for about 1 second before I woke up, I have NO idea what any of this means I have been doing some reading but I'd appreciate some specific opinions further than just dad means authority etc etc. Thanks in advance!

Well, since the spider was freaking you out, it could stand for something that is bothering you, but because was a cartoonish spider and not real it could mean that you are overreacting to something that isn't really that bad or worrying about something that isn't really a problem.

Your father could represent an authority figure, but he could also just be your father or an older man in your life or the part of yourself that is wise and experienced.
