My dad recently had a dream about me, that i was standing beside his bed with my eyes closed and face down. In the dream i was holding my right hand up and my middle, index, and ring finger were touching and pointing up with my thumb and pinky finger touching with the palm facing towards myself.
Does anyone know the meaning behind this dream. My dad took it as a warning of something bad about to happen. Thanks

Three middle fingers up with the thumb and pinky fingers touching is the Girl Scout sign. (I was a Girl Scout.)

On my honor, I will try:
To serve God and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law
{Incidentally the Boy Scout oath is very similar but their hand sign – a salute - could be interpreted differently.}

Because this sign is given beside your father’s bed, it might be understood as a promise you make in relation to him. The being of help part of The Promise could be particularly applicable. The fact that you make this sign or give this indication with your eyes closed, can imply that you do not believe the indication you give of being of service and helpful or perhaps that you do not see your father as someone this Promise could apply to. The face down position implies that your head is hanging down which is often seen as an indication of shame. The fact that the palm is not facing outwardly but rather towards yourself, can suggest that The Promise to serve and be helpful is directed mainly towards yourself.
