I had a unique dream last night...

For starters, in "real life," I met a wonderful guy a while back through mutual friends of ours. We were both very much attracted to and interested in each other, but someone "sabotaged" the date he asked me out on. We were basically seperated from that point on, and that was that.

While I have not been in contact with him since, we travel in the same circles, and I know many of the same people he knows -- friends, etc. I hear a lot on how he's doing from them. I may even get to see him soon, because I have been invited to an event he attends.

Last night, I had a dream involving this guy. In the dream, I was praying and asking whether I should keep trying, or forget about him. Just then, I remember looking up into the pitch black night sky, and I saw a gold star shining down. It was clear and bright.

Now, I have some crazy, average dreams about daily life, so this was certainly unique for me. What could this possibly mean?

Young children are given gold stars to make them feel good about themselves, so maybe it was your subconscious' way of telling you that no matter what happens with him, you should feel good about yourself.

Perhaps the gold star was an indication that you should continue being true to yourself.

In other words, if both of you are going to be at the same event, and you know you did nothing to sabotage the "date" that never was, maybe you should be letting him make the first move back to you. Be yourself, of course, don't play games, and earn that gold star.
