I was outside and walking in a large group of people. Everywhere I went it was very crowded, and I had to dodge people. Then I got to the place where I worked(I am not long retired) and inside the guarded government building there were also many people such that I could hardly walk. I saw the door to my office with my name and I saw my co-worker's offices, and they all looked the same, but the door of my supervisor's office had extra decorations on it. There were so many people that I had to jump and dodge people to get to my door, and in so doing I fell down to the floor. A tall man in a suit, that I did not know helped me up and I said thank you to him, and he seemed to be waiting for someone. Who was he? My thought was that he would take my place when I had retired, and then I woke up. I have not had many dreams in the last few years, since I had a very major operation, but I think that is because I could not remember them when I wake up, but now when I dream I make an effort to go over the dream so I will hopefully remember it.
Seeing your supervisor's door with extra decorations could mean that now that you are approaching retirement, you are thinking about what you have achieved in life and maybe regretting not having accomplished or achieved. everything you hoped for. Why did this other person get to be a supervisor and have all the decorations but not you? The people you have to dodge that cause you to fall down could represent the obstacles you've had to face in life. I think the tall man who helped you was yourself. I think the dream was trying to remind you that you have gotten where you are in life and gotten past any obstacles using your own strength (pulled yourself up) so you should be proud of yourself and happy with where you are in life.
