I had a dream where I start off awake and laying in my bed and a giant thing flew out from part of my room that generally hornets used to fly through when I had problems with them. It was black, looked more like a beetle but it had a 2 foot long stinger. The body on it seemed bigger than my head. I called in my dad to help me kill it and when he claimed it was dead he was going to throw it out side. I hear a yell and I run out and it wasn't dead and it latched on his arm and was biting it. I tried to hit it off but the body on it was really hard and my hits would just bounce off.

I think I may know how to interpret it myself just I want to see what other people may think.


The second dream was when I found it I killed it and I was sitting there trying to clean the blood from it off a mattress. It was purple blood which was kind of gross.

I think the hornet represents a problem (or problems) that you have.

Since your father said that he killed the hornet, but he really didn't and it hurt him, the dream could mean that you feel that your father doesn't keep his promises or doesn't take responsibility for taking care of things (all talk and no action) and in the end you end up suffering for it.

The second dream where you kill the hornet is about you feeling that if you want to get anything done, you have to do it yourself.

You're disgusted by the blood at the end because you're disgusted by the whole situation.

it could also mean something may be wrong with your dad. do you remember which arm it landed on it may me your dad has a few problems with that arm
