I previously wrote about a dream about crows in August. Now, I am back in this same room, which has two big windows and a small window (in the same frame) and the small one is covered with mosquito net for air to enter. It is my office/work room; I am there looking out of the window from the middle of the room. I see two spiders flying towards the window (I absolutely detest and am afraid of spiders in real life). I am fascinated by this and watch in a kind of dislike but can't look away. They fly towards the window and as they reach it, they come through the net by turning into smoke, which comes through in a long column. At this point, I run into the other room where my husband and others are talking. I try to tell them that we must run away, but they don't and I watch horrified as they breathe in the smoke and become different somehow. Because I didn't run, the same fate happens to me - and now we can all fly. But we do so like something from these Taoist depictions of flying in a kind of martial arts knees bent/legs stretched out together in one direction - we look very strange and rigid. I wake up. I feel it is connected somehow to the crows dream. I currently have two 'enemies'.
I found the crow dream and read it again and it is very similar to this one. You said before that you didn't want the birds to be "negative." Now its spiders that are becoming a part of you and you do deem them as something negative, or detestable. Interesting. Have you noticed any physical changes lately, or since the last dream? Are your muscles stiffer? Sometimes I dream about an insect invasion right before coming down with a sickness, usually its a cold or the flu.
Hi Sweet Slumber, I think the two dreams as somehow connected. Although I hate and detest spiders, breathing in the smoke was not horrific, and the flying was not unpleasant - just unusual. I am very stressed at the moment about an event with two previous business partners who have done a bad thing against me. It is the most stressed I have been in my life with anxiety attacks. I think it may have something to do with this, but can't work it out - it seems somehow archetypal. And its funny they come in twos. My dream life is crazy right now. Not every dream means something, but I feel that these two do. Grushka
Once you resolve the issues with your business partners it will be interesting to see if your crow and spider dreams disappear or transform into something more calm and benign.
