I went fishing with my whole family except my mum. Just me + my two brothers + dad. Ok so while we were fishing I caught a sailfish.

Like this one. But I didn't really see it until I was reeling it in. Once it came up close to me and once I actually saw what it was. I wanted to throw it back into the sea. I felt that there was something special about sailfish. But then my dad said we had to go home. So I took the sailfish home and tried to save it by putting a hose into its mouth. It didn't move at all. I was pretty sad. I didn't want to let it die. So me and my brothers went back to our fishing spot. My dad didn't come with us. I didn't know why but the sailfish wasn't with us. There was this wooden walkway thing. It was lop sided (going down) I went down there. One of my brothers was on the other side of me fishing. Then my other brother was up top. I started to stare at some huge pile of mud in the water. Then I saw this "Eye". It completely freaked me out because it was moving. But then its shadow came up from the mud and I saw that I was a gigantic CROCODILE. The crocodile just stared straight at me. But its eye was moving around. I looked at my brother fising. And shouted for him to come back up to where I was. I was panicking. My brother must have saw the huge crocodile. I told him to climb the white poles that were blocking his way to get back to safety. When he climbed. The whole wooden walkway was tipping over. So that we would fall into the crocodiles mouth. I grabbed my brother's hand and held on to it. My brother on top tried to pull us all in but he couldn't. Next minute I'm in the hospital. And all I could think was "Where's that sailfish?" "Is it okay?". All I wanted to do was get out of hospital and look for that sailfish.

I think the sailfish represents a part of yourself that you feel is being neglected, possibly because something in your life is changing. Since your dad doesn't want you to save the sailfish, this could have something to do with how your dad treats you or about something in your family that is changing that you feel that your dad has control over and you don't.

The crocodile could represent something powerful that you can't control.

A crocodile is also a symbol of the unconscious, so it could symbolize thoughts that you are repressing or that you feel that you will have to repress.
