So, I'm walking around in my church and my Sr. pastor's wife looks troubled and she keeps saying that nothing will work. The whole church was on fire but when I stepped outside of the church building, It looked perfectly fine and I saw no damange.

It sounds like you are suppressing strong emotions or passions. It could be your religion that is making you feel like you have to suppress them.
