On Saturday (Feb. 9), I went to my cousin's wedding.

On Saturday night going to Sunday morning, I had a dream of finding my true love. I'm currently single (I've been single since sophomore year in high school; now a sophomore at college). I'm currently crushing on a senior film major, who barely recognizes my existence. Before I start telling you the details of my dream, I must show you a photo of the guy that portrayed my love interest.


This is him. His name is Jay McGuiness, a member of the pop boyband, the Wanted. In my dream though, he was not famous and did not have an accent.

Here is the dream:
I was standing at line to this huge frat house that was having an event inside. I was with my two girl best friends. I turn around to see this electronic music festival/carnival thing across the street when I see Jay (he had the same name in my dream). At that moment, my heart began to race and my chest began to hurt. You know, the "classic" symptoms of falling in love. He then saw me and smiled. I walked towards him and we introduced each other. He was really weird, but I didn't care. We walk into the frat house together, holding hands and smiling at each other. We sit down and just start whispering to each other and he keeps softly stroking my hands. It was basically true love at first sight.

After the event, we ended up at his car. He kept stroking my hand and I kept biting my lips. Finally he leaned in and kissed me and I kissed him back. We separated and I began to giggle. He asked me why I was giggling and I told him that all I wanted was to kiss him forever and since he was an engineering major (in my dream), he should invent something to make that happen. He laughed at agreed that he would start working on that as soon as possible. I then mentioned how all the girls only show up to frat events to meet guys. He then yells at me that if the only reason I went was to find myself a "rich frat kid" and if I actually liked him. I told him that I was dragged by my best friends and I really liked him. He then told me that he loved me, but then an accident happened right in front of the car. The cops showed up and took Jay to the station so he can tell his events. Before he leaves, he kisses me and tells me that I am his true love and he will always love me.

So yeah, what does that mean? I mean, I've been wanting to find myself a date-worthy guy, but I haven't found anyone that likes me. I do like the senior film major, but I doubt he feels the same since we barely know each other. HELP ME REALIZE WHAT THIS MEANS!

Going to your cousin's wedding would have made you think about relationships and what kind of future relationship you want.

Is there anything about Jay McGuiness that would make him attractive to you or think you would want to be with someone like him (I'm thinking more about his personality than his physical appearance).

It's interesting that the dream is about Jay, though, then the guy you actually have a crush on. That and the fact that Jay gets taken away because of an accident makes me think that maybe you dream is saying you aren't ready for a committed relationship.

Maybe you need to be more relaxed around the film major guy and just get to know him and not take things too seriously and see what happens.

I've obviously never met the guy, but he presents himself as a funny, playful guy. He seems to just want to have fun and enjoy life.

And I guess I'll be more myself around my actual crush.
