my dream last night consisted of me seemingly breaking up with my current girlfriend for no apparent reason. then for some reason, i ended up falling in love and moving in with the female singer of a currently hugely popular band.

after we 'got together' she had to go to a foreign country(i get the feeling it was Europe for some reason) for stuff for the band. and while she was gone our house, which was overlooking a lake, was attacked(by boat) by what i want to say are female vikings. she never came back and i ended up waking up feeling heartbroken for some reason.

side note: the band she sings for also wrote a song that another ex girlfriend and i shared while we were together.(this ex-gf was a huge disappointment, was on the verge of asking her to marry me when i found out she was cheating on me). not sure if this pertains or not, but i thought i'd throw it in there as it kind of peaked my interest.

It looks like it's all about your ex. The song you two shared together is represented by the female you were with in the dream, she sung the song so i guess that's why she's there. That song reminds you of your ex so of course it would be important and it seemed like you really liked the girl so you dated the singer since she sang your song.... If that makes sense? The boat crashing into your house i think represents you finding out that she was cheating and your whole relationship falling apart, your house represents you and your life. She never came back in the dream because you never went back to your ex. It seems like you still have a lot of feelings for her still and i think the dream is just letting you know how you feel about her. Or maybe you just miss the idea of her because you dated the song in your dream and not your ex.
