Last night I had a dream that involved me having gifts of almost supernatural proportions. I could fly with out the use of wings and even gravitate myself in one spot. There are some pieces of this dream that i can remember only vaguely. In the addition to the flying qualitites i could send lightening sailing from my fingertips. (sometimes i could use the lightening and sometimes it wouldnt work for me) In one portion of the dream there was a villain, something like a big monster type creature.(i dont remember the details of the monster.) I do remember being able to save my family from this creature by using my flying and lightening abilities. These people i saved were family in my dreams but I do not know them in real life. After I saved them from this creature my dream seemed to skip to a different chapter. I was in a local grocery store. Not shopping but just there with someone i guess. I started to lift myself into the air and just gravitate in front of the many customers almost as if to show off my new found skills. Thats when my dream shifted to another part of the dream. I ran across a few other people(alll men around my age) that had the same flying abilities as I did. Apparently they like to test their flying speeds in these underground tunnels that had lava flowing on the bottom of the tunnels. Since I was the new guy I had they pleasure of flying in last position. We were all having fun when things started to get more serious. The Tunnel ceilings started to collapse and since i was in last position I got caught in a dead end after the ceilings fell and left me knowhere to go but back the way i came. As I stood there in the hot flowing lava without any damage being done to me, I was contemplating my next move. Suddenly I heard a familiar voice i have heard in a long time. Immediately I flew up a shaft leading to the outside world and to my disbelief I seen an old friend named Brittany. (note: Brittany is the only person in this dream that i actually know in real life) We exchanged pleasantries and I asked her if she wanted to do a little flying. While i gripped her so as not to drop her we caught up on things past. Ask her how her son was doing and the rest of the family. Suddenly we flew up to a road construction site and discovered there was a badly injured worker. Realizing that it would take any rescue squad or whatever to long to get to him I decided to bid adue to Brittany and went to save the injured worker.Shortly after I got him into my arms and we reached flight, i noticed he started turning a purplish color and his body started to almost fall from my tightly gripped hands. I say almost fall because I had such a tight grip on him i nkew he wouldnt fall by me letting him go. But he seemed to stretch like a piece of heavy dough. Just streching and streching until he finally broke loose and fell to his death while i still had his arms gripped tightly in mine.

CAn anyone make any sense of this weird dream? Any feedback would be appreciated..TY

A lil background into the last month of my life...

Recently, on Aug1,2011..i was diagnosed with anxiety.funny thing is; i only have anxiety attacks while i'm exerting any kind of physical labor..i.e: washing my car, running up and down my stairs, running on a treadmill, and even worse..when i'm at work. I've missed almost a full month of work due to this. My doctor released me to go back to work but my job dont want me there until i'm back to 100% and able to do my job to the fullest.(production work) Kind of cornered on that end but i'm working through it. I've started having off the wall dreams with this medications they put me on. Meds are called Remeron..if anyone could help make sense out of this dream it would be greatly appreciated..i am at a total loss in this area. The more dreams i have the more i will post to see if there are any regularities in them. Looking forward to seeing you replies

Well, I have never heard of Remeron but I looked it up and it is a tricyclic antidepressant, which I do know about. It would be normal for drugs like this to affect your dreams because of how they affect your brain chemistry.

Your being to able to control everything in your dream is a common experience in lucid dreams. If you don't normally have lucid dreams, this could have to do with the medication affecting your brain chemistry. Was it a lucid dream - were you aware that you were dreaming?

The dream could also be about a need you have for control. Anxiety attacks themselves have to do with a fear of losing control (of the situation and of how your body reacts to the situation.)

You also seem to be questioning the doctor's diagnosis a bit, so maybe you wish you had more control over your treatment.
