I had a dream i was exploring a mountainous and rocky terrain on a brown horse back with out a saddle. The landscape was similar to Arizona with jagged rocks and mountainous terrain but this one had water and lots of it. I was exploring the landscape entirely on horseback, passing by rivers, mountains etc... and even came upon a large cliff with spectacular view of a vast ocean with very powerful waves. On my travels there were alot of puddles of water and my horse and i would jump in and out of these puddles just to see how deep they were. Some puddles were shallow enough to skim the ankles of my horse others were deep enough to cover almost my horse's entire body except the head and it was fun! Eventually i came to clearing upon a small cliff and right under it was a some what of large river. Over the horizon i could see an electric storm brewing carrying high winds and rain. It was exiting to see a storm like that with such energy and i knew it was coming my way so i decided to leave and double back to a clearing a passed earlier where there would be a good place to setup camp for the night. As soon as i was about to leave i woke up.

i rarely remember my dreams with this type of detail, clarity and emotion. if anyone wants to take a crack at what this means i will be much appreciated

    tks

I think that the rocky, mountainous terrain represents your life or the part of your life you are living now, with the rocks and mountains representing the obstacles you have gotten past in your life and the obstacles in life that you still have to get over.

Water in dreams often represents the emotions, so the bodies of water that you pass can represent times in your life when you have felt strong emotion or times in the future when you expect to be very emotional because of things that you expect to happen.

The huge ocean probably symbolizes an important event that you expect to happen in your future that you have, or will have, strong emotions about. (These could be good or bad emotions.) You could be somewhat afraid that you won't be able to control your emotions.

The parts of the dream where you and your horse jump in and out of the puddles signify emotional experiences that you have survived and that have made you stronger.

In general, traveling in a dream represents a journey through life. Since you are taking a horse and exploring, rather than speeding through the landscape by car or train, it's a sign that you are thinking about yourself and the meaning of your life.
