Last night, I woke up in my dream, and went into the bathroom. I looked in the mirror, and saw a HUGE needle sticking through my tragus, cheek, and the very thick part of the nose. I didn't freak out or anything, I had a very calm expression on my face, and I removed the needle. It hurt SO bad. I can actually still remember the pain from that dream. Everything that happened, I could feel. And when I looked in the mirror (still in my dream) I noticed how purple and bruised my nose looked. It was gross, and freaked me out. Help? Thanks.
First of all, could it be a warning of a (possibly latent) physical problem? A jaw, dental or sinus problem? Migraines? Ear infection? Could you be coming down with a cold or flu? Since you use your face to get information from the outside world, as well as to express yourself to others, perhaps this dream means that you've discovered something that you don't want to know, or that you know something that you don't want to hear. The fact that your nose and ear were affected could have something to do with the type of information. Your removing the needle could be a sign that you aren't able to repress this knowledge; you have to let it out.
The bathroom, can indicate a situation pertaining to self correction. Since in this dream the bathroom is not being used for toileting or bathing purposes, it may also represent simply a very personal point of view reflecting how you personally would see things. Looking in a mirror can refer to the idea of checking on your own self image; checking out your own personal characteristics and possibly how you might appear to others. The needle usually refers to the issue of “needling”, which can mean forcing someone to get the point or refer to a goading, provoking, or teasing remark or act. As the needle is stuck into you, here the needling is directed at yourself. As the needle being used is huge, this way of acting seems to have become very important to you but it implies the importance is being greatly exaggerated by your own ego and Satan. In this scene the needle is applied to your face which means that any goading, provoking or teasing remarks are being directed at your own self identity. Because 3 parts of the face are involved here (tragus, cheek, nose) it can be implied that you might see this type of self needling as being a good or godly act. [Has teasing or making jokes about yourself become a personal characteristic?] You need to calmly or deliberately rid yourself of this form of behaviour. (I removed the needle.) You are giving yourself a lot of emotional pain through needling yourself. (It hurt SO bad) The purple and bruised nose would imply that the emotional pain being given to yourself is particularly focused upon your sense of knowing. In this case the knowing would refer to your knowing about your own self identity. {Perhaps you know at some level of awareness that needling yourself is painful to your sense of Self. So why inflict such pain upon yourself?}
