Just last night, I had a dream that I was eating chicken? I don't know what to make of that. It seemed rather odd to me, that being all that went on. Just me, sitting down, standing up, walking around, eating chicken. I read on the site that Any help is greatly, greatly appriciated. Thank you, Micha.
You could also consider the slang definition of "chicken" as a cowardly person. So perhaps eating (destroying) chicken could have to do with dealing with a fear of something.
That's a very good observation. I never thought of that. So, do you think it could be telling me to get rid of my inhabitions or something?
Hi and Welcome. Do you feel you need to rid yourself of any inhibitions? Do you ever feel cowardly in a situation to the point that it emotionally bothers you? Is there a fear you would like to conquor? Was the chicken you were eating tasty? Was it gross? Or did it have a taste at all? How was it prepared? Who cooked it? Was it at a picnic with family? The answers to those questions can help tell you more.
Well, I don't distinctly remember any taste whatsoever. I do remember it was fried, and I was alone in a room. I don't really feel cowardly in situations, because I keep myself out of situations that I would become scared in. That in itself could be considered a fear, but it's not that I'm scared to. I've just moved past the phase in life where I'm getting myself into those situations.
Were you often treated to fried chicken in your home growing up? Was it a source of delight? Was it frozen/prepared food that was heated up? Depending on your impressions, it could be a longing for the "nurishment" of home and family.
I never really liked it all that much, once in a while, I would eat it, though. It could mean a lot of things, now that these ideas have been brought up.
