Hi, I guess this must be one of those times when your subconscious is really overactive :?: . Here's another one ... I am dressed in a white wedding gown and looking really sexy but its not my wedding. There is a wedding going on in a hall nearby and one of the guests is looking at me thinking why am I dressed like that when I'm not the bride. This is a sort of a hotel lobby or a mall that I see myself in so there are chairs all around like a cafe in a mall. My friends are sitting nearby and one of my friends who I do rather like is getting some other friends of his who I don't know and I am wondering why is he getting them along. Thats about all I remember. Whats strange is that I am not a Christian so I don't understand why would I see myself dressed in a white wedding dress with a veil and all. I am a Hindu by religion. Make sense??? Cheers, Pooja.
Symbols may mean different things in different cultures. The two most prominent symbols are: white wedding What does the color white mean to you? What do you think of when you think of weddings? Perhaps if you put these two symbols together, you may come up with an idea of what the dream is telling you. Good Luck!
I think the only theme that means anything to me would be wedding. I am at a stage where I would like to get married but no particular associations with white. White in my culture is the colour of mourning but I don't think I have ever looked at it in that particular manner. I'm tried to look back on the past few days to see if there were any associations with white and remembered that this friend of mine I dreamt about brought me a white dupatta (scarf) with white embroidery on it. That is the only association I can come up with.
Since you are familiar with the christian tradition of wearing white at weddings, perhaps when your friend gave you the white scarf, you associated it with a bridal veil. Since you wish to be married and are not yet, you may have felt a bit of mourning?
