Here a bit of background info: I'm a sophomore in college, I'm single, and I start school today and it's not where I actually go to school (June 4).

My dream started of with me going to school, and settling into the dorm there. I then go outside with my parents and set up a pool. The next day, there's a lot of my friends that I'm close to from either classmates and those who I get along with in the student government of my college. As the day progresses, my pool is being filled up with friends from high school that I was closed to, but not anymore. These people are people that I used to talk to, but I haven't anymore.

I was so annoyed that people were using my pool and not following directions that I had told them. I'd ask them to not lean on the edge, and to clean their feet, but none of them listened to me. I finally made a scene in front of them and told them that they can enjoy the pool. I just run away to this canopy thing that led to the fine arts school. There was a person with a cart, so I move to the side to go to the fine arts school (I'm not even a fine arts major) and I see an African American blind person making these cool tricks with the stick every time he turned a corner. I saw him, and walked behind the person with the cart to give the guy a chance to pass. He then walked towards me (and the guy looked like a friend of mine from camp. My friend and I were just good friends) and just wouldn't let me pass through him, except he was blind. I ask him if something is wrong, and he doesn't answer me, but makes a sign using sign language. I then make the sign for excuse me and he looks taken aback. He then starts to sign at me, but I say that I don't know sign language. He then talks and says its okay. He was just testing me, and that he really isn't that blind, and that he can hear a bit.

He then starts to flirt with me. He tells me that he can teach me sign language, but I say no thank you. He then asks me on a date, and I say no thank you. He then shakes his head, and tells him that I'm discriminating against him because of his disabilities. I then realize that I should learn sign language, and ask him about it, but he says no and to leave him alone. I start to cry, feeling really bad for how I had acted, when these TAs walk by wearing the same thing. I then see my [real-life TA that I had for my freshman oceanography class] walking towards me. (In real life, I really liked him. I had a HUGE crush on him, but he had a fiance. He told me about her. He and I had a lot in common, and got along great. I even wanted to add him on FB.)

Well, in my dream, he comes up to me and just hugs me and asks whats wrong. I tell him and he tells me that its okay. He then starts to flirt with me, and I flirt back, and he then pulls me into a hug. I hug him back till his fiance coughs. We let go, and she makes a face at me. She then kisses my TA right in front of me, and then leaves. He then makes a face at her and starts to flirt with me. He once against pulls me into a hug, and kisses my cheek, we start making small talk. She then comes back, and pulls him away from me. I go to my room, and I'm lying in my bed when she comes in, and covers my mouth and eyes. I can feel her dragging me, but obviously I don't know where she is taking me. After a while, she gives me back my eyesight and I'm allowed to talk. But, she won't answer anything. She then turns into an ugly, devil like thing. I start to run, and I start going through this obstacle. By the end of the obstacle, I was somehow wearing a beautiful gown, which was on fire at the back tail of it. I take it off, and she just laughs at me. I try to find her, but I can't. I then wake up.

What does this mean?

How did your first day at school go?

Water can be symbol of the unconscious, so your old friends from high school taking up too much space in the pool and you getting annoyed by that could have to do with you wanting to get rid of buried memories from the past or memories about yourself.

The fine arts school makes me think of you creating a new image of yourself.

With the African American blind man, you seem be mixing up blindness and deafness. He is supposed to be blind, but you communicate by sign language. He says he isn't that blind; he can hear a bit. This can have to do with you not paying attention (not seeing or hearing) to something but it could also have to do with getting your signals mixed up.

This is also reflected in the TA's fiance covering your mouth and eyes.

Not wanting to learn sign language from him and then feeling bad about it could have to do with you not having found ways to cope with difficulties in waking life.

That makes a lot of sense, but what about my TA and his fiancee. I mean, I've never met her. And I got over my crush on him halfway through the semester. :/

I think she represents something that you can't have or can't control.
