So last night I dreamt that a female friend was staying with my boyfriend and I in our home (although i realise now it wasn't actually our house), I don't know who she was, I just remember that she was a friend of my boyfrieds, I remember feeling anxiety towards her and thinking she was going to try to sleep with him. All i really remember was, for some reason my partner and I weren't sleeping in the same room and she was hanging out in his room with him, also we were sitting at a dinner table with someone else and they said "I thought you two broke up?" and she piped up and said "were back together now" and I had too add "as friends!" and I remember going somewhere with them and she was just being super overly nice to him and I pulled h aside to kiss him.

My partner has had to go away for work for 2 weeks, I'm assuming this dream is just my anxiety about what he is getting up to while he is away, the thing that bothered me though was that she was a guest in our house in the dream.

So I woke up quite upset from this dream and eventually fell asleep again only to fond myself getting in an elevator where there were two other ladies in there, we were up quite high (I'm talking hundreds of stories) I remember the lift going down and me saying "oh wow I hate that feeling in your stomach when it goes down" I think I remember one of the ladies getting out but not the other, however she was gone when I got down further, as I got closer to the ground I found myself in a harness like, flying fox sort of contraption, and I found myself soaring towards the ground over the ocean (I started off far enough from the ground that I couldn't even make out houses or anything) as I got closer to the ground I found that it was taking me straight to my house (that, aain, wasn't actually my house) and I had a lever that I could pull to stop it, but the line for the flying fox turned at my house and went down to a bridge, but I pulled the lever at my house so that I didn't have to walk back from the bridge, but I was still really high off the ground, I found that i had also hung a whole bunch of clothes all around me so I had to try and hold the lever stopping the flying fox and reach all my clothes whilst balancing on what had now developed into a trapeze-like seat, I was also still too high off the ground and to be able to get down I had to hang off the trapeze and jump and this is where I woke up.

This elevator. Dream really confused me, and normally I don't bother trying to decipher them, I just chalk them up to my subconscious, but I'd really love to know if anyone has some insight into it??

I think you are right, that the first dream has to do with anxiety about your partner being away.

The part that she is a guest in your house could have to do with unconscious worries that you have created the situation you are afraid about, that something about the way you have been behaving toward your boyfriend would make him want to be with someone else when he is away.

The first thing I thought of when reading your second dream is that it has sexual symbols - the elevator and flying around in the harness - so it may just be a sex dream from having your boyfriend away so long.

It could also have to do with taking risks or feeling that you have a lot to "balance" in your life, maybe because you have more to do around the house with your boyfriend away.
