I dreamed there was a war, inside one country. I was with someone, but I don't remember who. It was a girl though. We were on a journey, inside the country where te war was. We were looking for something that everybody was looking for. We were looking for these white wings. We found them in a tree. At the end, I remember the boarders of the country. No one was aloud to cross them. There were guards there and one of those was a woman. She could fly. I tricked her, and I flew over the boarders and escaped. The war lasted for 60 years. They called it the 50 x 10(I was confused about that name) war, or the third world war.
The war could stand for a conflict in your life. Flying over the borders and escaping could symbolize getting past obstacles to eventually resolve the conflict.
I sense you were looking for your female self; the "thing" that "everyone" was looking for - Peace. The dove could well resemble "Peace", only to fly away and be gone for 60 years. I sense that perhaps there is some conflict going on in your life now. It would be interesting to find out if you can look back into this dream, and bring out anything more that you might remember of it.
This is what the dictionary says, if you haven't already seen it: I think you should also bear in mind that war is featured a lot in the media at the moment, with terrorists and so on. I've had similar dreams recently; one where I was fighting in the Middle East, one in Bosnia, and another one during WWII. I wonder what was the setting for your dream? Do you think it's any reflection of recent news events. It's also the 60 year anniversery of the end or World War Two this year. Still, you were on a jouney, which often represents an exploration of yourself or, more accurately, your journey through life and spiritual development. There's nothing mystical about it, just a subconscious idea of what a jouney is, going from one place to another with a purpose - in this case you were looking for something that will help you fly, which (flying) often represents spiritual freedom, not being tied down by the mundane routines of everyday life. Perhaps you feel that things are getting a bit too serious and there's too much official everyday stuff going on in your life right now, that your dreams are looking for a temporatry return to your responsibiltyless (is that a word?) childhood - suggesting you might need to play more, where the 'internal conflict', if there is one, is the one between wanting to play (have fun) and the need to get things done on a more serious level. Does any of that make any sense?
