I had fallen asleep for only 2 hours, but with this time i was plagued with the most bizzare dream, the majority of it was filled with me at different lapses of time, from seeing my future self to reliving a child hood memories yet these were blurry and unclear. But what had got me the most was this boy. As the dream told it, I was sleeping my bed in a position i rarely do, where my feet was toward the headboard as well as my self facing the wall. I always sleep heads up, rarely the other way. and 80 pct of the time on my right side towards the room and not facing wall, at any rate, I heard foot steps coming up out side my window, it was so vivid I could hear the leaves crunching under his feet. Then Bang bang bang, on my window fan, and in a child's voice I heard. "hey Mister... Hey mister I'm here to help." which shook me from my slumber, with my body filled with chills, consuming me for nearly 5 seconds, which seemed even longer.
Unfortunately, I have no idea, in which this child wants to help me, and I'm wondering if this is more meaning to this other than this child wanting to help me.

Side Note: The boys accent, was that predates time, It sound old like 1800's type accent.

    Hi and Welcome.

Were the two hours you slept a nap, or did you fall back to sleep? Sometimes what occurs in the stages of sleep either prior to falling asleep or upon waking up, is a stage that produces hallucinations.

    more info

I've heard child voices in the stage just before falling asleep. I've heard and experienced other loud noises and sensations just prior to waking up.

These experiences, at least from my own experience of falling back to sleep, seem to bring on these strange heights of awareness and activity of the senses.

Were you unusually stressed or tired or not feeling well before you went to bed?

Why weren't you sleeping in your normal position (or did you just dream that you weren't sleeping in your normal positon?)?
