Last night I had this werid dream and I just can't shake it. So it starts off I belive I am in my house and there are these people I do not know they keep telling me I am going to be in a coma, I am just sitting there and then one of the people tells me "time to go" and I felt this painfull jolt into the coma. I am in a coma I can see my self and then snap I am comming out of the coma it is sixteen years later. I am in a new place the same people are with me when I wake up they have done my hair makeup and I am wearing some horrible leopard print getup. I go look at my reflection and I don't see me I see somebody else. I then have the urgent feeling to leave and when I go outside there is a blizzard and earthquakes going on and then I wake up. It was just a werid dream and the coma and sixteen are what I can't shake. These people also kept saying you have been in a coma for sixteen years over and over.I also thought it was werid that I felt physical pain at least in the dream when going into the coma.

Being in a coma makes me think of not being able to express yourself and share your feelings. You could have been repressing strong feelings or believe that you are going to have to repress them. A storm in a dream often indicates powerful emotions, but the storm is a blizzard and ice and snow are related to numbness. Seeing someone else in the mirror could mean that you feel that you can't be yourself, or that you haven't yet accepted your true self. Since you don't like the outfit you have on, this could be related to the role you have to play in life. Other people doing your hair and makeup could mean that you feel that other people are controlling the way you appear to others.

Marcia, thanks that does make a lot of sense. Sixteen years ago I was 10 the only thing that was a big deal that year was my youngest sister was born. When I was sixteen my grandmother passed away and I moved across the country. I still struggle with the loss of my grandmother even though it has been so long.

i believe that your grandma may have been your issue also the fact that your in a coma for 16 years mean your probably avoiding your true being. you also feeling obligated to do what others think of as cool or make you fit in.
