Hello, After a long period of not being able to remember my dreams I have had a night of thousand images. The image that sticks most in memory is that of a man in his fifthies pushing a Down Syndrome, grow-up child on a swing. The down syndrome "child" is in his thirties and he loves being on the swing. The father looks really tired but is patient and kind. Then the child just smiles and his head drops to one side and he is dead, like his heart just gives up. He looks very peaceful. The father looks at him with sadness, but in same time I got the feeling in the dream that it was not unexpexted and that the father is strangly relieved that it ended in such a way. He looks with immense love at his dead child. In awake life I dont know anyone with a down syndrome child and have no such "connection". I dont have children myself, I am not expecting any, and I have seen neither of these two men before. The prevailing atmosphere of the dream is tiredness, love, sadness and relif. What does the image symbolize, I wonder?
Wow, what powerful imagery! I don't know why, but I get a sense that the dream may be a premonition of some kind, perhaps symbolic. Something will occur that will make you realize that you had dreampt it and then you'll remember the dream.
Premonitions Hello, Yes, you could be right, it might be a premonition. I have had dreams like that before. What ever the premonition is all about, it must be something that has yet to happen. I will get back to you if this matter is cleared. ;-) Karin
