Hi, My mother just passed away recently and my Dad just had a dream about her coming towards him in a hallway from a bright light. She placed a little box of matches on a table near him and said, "For you" then she approached him. They embraced and both said "I love you" , she had one hand behind his neck and other hand on top of his head. Then he suddenly woke up.. and he could swear that he actually felt her warmth near him. Like if she was really there! What baffles me is what does the box of matches mean? Does she want him to light candles perhaps?
Well, I didn't know this but he thinks that it might mean that she wants him to light a candle to help someone (like a lost soul ), to cross to the other side- or to reach heaven. Then I asked him if it meant for someone who is going to die soon..she wants a candle lit. He said No it could be a lost spirit (probably a relative) that needs help to get there. I'm not sure who this could be though.
Not necessarily, No, but since my mom just passed away last month I've been very interested in spirits and souls, etc. What got me started too was seeing a talk show called Innerviews it was on the Wisdom channel. It was with this lady Echo Bodine, she's gifted to be able to see and hear souls, plus she's a healer. This is amazing too because I just had a dream of my mother ..last night!... I was back at my parents house, in the basement was my room and I was roller skating there. (that's funny because I don't even really like rollerskating) . Then I hear someone coming downstairs very peppy and full of energy and it was her.. and she was laughing! She went to the other side of the basement where the freezer is and its unfinished. I approached her and said "Mom, oh my god, but I thought you died?" she acted like no way I'm fine, I'm fine, -like it never happened. Then she said "I know, it's strange", I told her she looked beautiful, I remember colors in my dream then, and what she wore. She didn't look younger , just same age but very healthy looking with shiny eyes. We hugged and I can really remember sense of touch in the dream too.
It's very common to dream of a loved one who has just passed away, as though they are still living. Your unconscious mind doesn't understand that the person has died, and herefore is no longer living, because it doesn't have the sense of sequential time that you have with your conscious mind.
