    Not sure exactly what happened but my comp went a bit tits up after that and I ended up hving to reboot abt 5 times to get it right. Mind u the old gal has been a bit odd lately anyway, although its completely virus free so dont worry its just got a mind of its own.
    It was abt 10.35 by the time I got it working properly again, hence my non return :(

    I typed exit in console when it said connection to server timed out, which returned me to the game.net screen with the sever list on it. I tried to refresh the list but nothing happened and none of the other game.net pages were working. I thought my modem had disconnected at first but I was able to look at other sites and check my e-mail. Anyway I joined the game again via the desktop icon for CS, but there were only 3 people still there. Played for about ten minutes then everyone left. One interesting thing though; there was a little group of unknown names playing on the TFC preview server... 8)

    I nearly did; but once you lose momentum from not been connected to a game the spark just withers.... ;)

    You asked me last night what kind of support worker I am... Bit of a big question to answer while you're been shot at. I do all different things, last night I was looking after an autistic boy while his mum and dad went to the pub; which is why I got home so late, and frighteningly sober for a Friday night! :wink:

    CS does my head in though.

    Sometimes I do quite well... sometimes I'm really shit.

    Is that why you don't play for long sometimes? If you did really well all the time it would be boring though; you'd be sick of it in no time...

    Nah, i actually stick on a server longer if I dont do so well...more of a challenge. I don't mind getting beat by people who are better, it's just when I can't seem to know my arse from my elbow that gets on me tits.

    I'm just weighing up the pro's and cons.

    I dont think the preview is the perfect choice for trying to organise a game full of subs and non-subs (when I've invited non-subs I mean)

    Like tonight, the server had 10 people on it, including me. These people weren't subs but other people I've met on other servers I regulary play on. I like em, so I'd feel pretty shitty if they were kicked because subs joined.

    Tonight wasnt a problem, but if it was last week they would have all been kicked.
