I cannot stop thinking about this dream. Anyone's opinions would be great to read. The beginning of the dream starts with me and my gf(of about 2 months) ready to get hitched (we just went to a wedding a few days ago) on my elementary school black top in swim suits. I then realize i forgot the rings and start to run home to get them. I remember it being impossible to run fast unless i was on all fours. Before i get back to my house I stop by a friends house to borrow a horse?? I could not get the horse out the house so i continue running.
The dream then shifts to being a work with my gf (i don't work with her) and I later find out she cheated on me and she pretty much humiliates me in front of friends.

I really feel fine with my relationship but this dream seems to have so many symbols to suggest that i do not. This dream was so odd and detailed that i just can't get it out of my head.

I don't think the girlfriend in your dream is necessarily your waking life girlfriend, and if you don't think there is any problem in your relationship, it's possible that you have nothing to worry about. But since you have only been together for two months, maybe unconsciously you are noticing some possible issues that your conscious mind isn't paying attention to yet.

Going to the wedding would have made you think about your future and future relationships. Have you actually thought about having a longterm relationship with your gf, and have you discussed this? To me, two months seems like a short time - especially if you didn't know each other very well before you started dating - but everyone is different.

What is a "blacktop"? Is that like a playground? - I'm thinking of asphalt. The being in the playground (if that's what it is), wearing swimsuits (not appropriate for a wedding) and forgetting the rings all make me think about you not being ready for something. Being in a playground because that is associated with being a child.

It's possible that this has to do with your not being ready for a relationship with your gf or with another girl, but this might not have to do with relationships at all. Your unconscious might have just used symbols related to weddings because you happened to go to a wedding the other day. The dream could be about you not feeling ready for something else that is happening in your life.

Running on all fours could have to do with listening to your basic, instinctive side. Thinking about your basic, inner needs. Using a horse as a normal means of transportation is something that is associated with the past, so there is a lot of symbolism in this dream having to do with the past: being in school, running on all fours (like before we evolved to walk upright), riding a horse.

Since the only way you can run fast is by running on all fours, it sounds like the dream is saying that the only way you can get where you want to be in life is by facing your past and facing what is inside of you.

The part about your girlfriend cheating on you doesn't have to be about her actually cheating on you. It could have to do with a feeling that you are being cheated in life or a message that you are somehow cheating yourself.
