    Hi,

    1) More than 2 months ago, I saw an image of a heavily pregnant woman when I was awake. (I am not pregnant.) 2) Yesterday, I dreamt that my father was dead. (He is still alive.) Upon hearing the news of his death, I felt a sense of relief.

Someone told me that they are related but I don't see the connection between them.

    Thanks!

    Hi Annie.

I agree with the person who said that the two dreams are related.

Both have to do with change and beginning a new stage in life.

Pregnancy in a dream can be about starting a new project or a new phase in your life. A dream about death can be about ending something old and beginning something new.

Birth and death also have to do with the cycle of life, so the dreams can be about going through changes as you pass through life. These dreams could also be telling you that you should be looking at your past experiences to see if some things tend to repeat themselves and to try to learn from your past.

Since you dreamed that your father was dead, you could be thinking about something to do with him that has changed or is changing. The sense of relief you felt could have to do with you or your father getting past something difficult in your life.
